เซ็นเซอร์ตรวจจับของ RaySafe X2 เป็นโซลูชั่นที่เรียบง่ายและรวดเร็วที่สุดสำหรับการตรวจวัดเรนจ์ของพลังงานของรังสีเอ็กซ์ด้วยความแม่นยำ โดยเป็นเซ็นเซอร์รุ่นล่าสุดที่รองรับ RaySafe X2 ซึ่งเป็นระบบตรวจวัดรังสีเอ็กซ์ที่ได้รับการพัฒนาคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง และมาพร้อมกับศักยภาพในการตรวจวัดการรั่วและการกระจายจากการใช้เครื่องเอ็กซ์เรย์เพื่อการวินิจฉัย
เซ็นเซอร์ตรวจวัดของ RaySafe X2 ซึ่งแตกต่างไปจากไอออนแชมเบอร์อัดความดันนั้น ทำขึ้นจากซิลิคอน ซึ่งทำให้สามารถขนส่งได้โดยไม่ต้องเตรียมการใดๆให้ยุ่งยาก นอกจากนี้ เซ็นเซอร์ตรวจวัดรุ่นใหม่ยังมีโหมดการทำงานให้เลือกสองประเภท ได้แก่ โหมดปกติและอัตโนมัติ ซึ่งโหมดการทำงานเหล่านี้ทำให้เซ็นเซอร์ดังกล่าวสามารถตรวจวัดอัตราปริมาณรังสีในระดับต่ำในรังสีปฐมภูมิของเครื่องเอ็กซ์เรย์ และยังสามารถสับเปลี่ยนการตอบสนองของพลังงานระหว่าง Air Kerma (Gy หรือ R) และ Ambient Dose Equivalent (Sv)
