เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ นายสุรงค์ บุลกุล (ที่ 1 จากซ้าย) ประธานกรรมการ และ นายนพดล ปิ่นสุภา (ที่ 2 จากซ้าย) กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท โกลบอล เพาเวอร์ ซินเนอร์ยี่ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ GPSC ผู้ดำเนินธุรกิจไฟฟ้าในกลุ่ม PTT ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) กับ นายวิทยา ฉายสุวรรณ (ที่ 1 จากขวา) ประธานกรรมการ และ นายนิพนธ์ บุญเดชานันทน์ (ที่ 2 จากขวา) กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ยูนิเวอร์แซล ยูทีลิตี้ส์ จำกัด หรือ UU ในเครือ บริษัท จัดการและพัฒนาทรัพยากรน้ำภาคตะวันออก จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ EASTWATER เพื่อร่วมกันศึกษาและพัฒนาโครงการบำบัดน้ำเสียให้นำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ในพื้นที่ที่มีศักยภาพ โดยเริ่มดำเนินการในพื้นที่เขตอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก ซึ่งโครงการนำร่องความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ การรีไซเคิลน้ำเสียเมืองพัทยา จ.ชลบุรี ที่ภายในอนาคต 5 ปีข้างหน้าจะมีการบำบัดน้าเสียประมาณ 200,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตรต่อวัน

Recently, Chairman Surong Bulakul (1st from left), President Noppadol Pinsuda (2nd from left) of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the electricity arm of PTT Plc, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a subsidiary of East Water, Universal Utilities Company Limited (UU), Chairman Wittaya Chaisuwan and Managing Director Niphon Bundechanun to jointly study and develop waste water treatment facilities to recycle waste water in potential areas, starting with the eastern industrial estates. This pioneer project will be a recycling waste water in Pattaya city, where it is estimated that there will be 200,000 cubic metres of waste water per day in the next five years.
